Pumpkin Patch

My kids are at a fun age. They had so much fun picking out their own pumpkins. This pumpkin patch by my in-laws house is so much fun. They have a small corn maze (the perfect size for my kids) and a hay ride. And its all Free! Except for the pumpkins :) I posted more pictures of our trip to the pumpkin patch on my photography blog. These pictures I took at the pumpkin patch were inspired by a good friend of the family who recently passed away. She could always do amazing things with her camera. I loved looking at all the pictures she took of her Grand kids. I always remember the one she took of her grandson in the pumpkins. She did it in black and white and just colored one of the pumpkins. Each year I always try to recreate that picture. Thanks Jan for teaching me about photography. Sorry we never got to take that class together!

Wheeler Farm

I dragged my two nieces, Maddie and Tuck to Wheeler Farm to take some pictures. Why is it that when I have an idea in my head what I want the pictures to look like - they never turn out how I picture? Wedding

Isn't this cake amazing? This is the cake from my cousin Aimees wedding. The same person did my sisters cake for her wedding. I just think she does an amazing job.

Jordan

Jordan made this monkey at school. He isn't talking as much as he should for his age. So he goes to class once a week. He freaked out when they had him paint with pudding - he can't stand to get his hands dirty or have anything out of place. The first thing Maddie asked when she saw Tucks monkey . . . "why did he put his eyes down there?" Tuck is very proud of his monkey! I thought it was cute and had to share it. Thought I'd better post something of Tuck - most posts are about Maddie. That is because Tuck will not sit still long enough to take a picture. And if I don't have a picture then there is nothing to post. I REALLY REALLY hate writing and coming up with something to write.

Fun Run

This is Maddie right before the Fun Run at her school. This is all I saw of her too. I went to the school to do the run with her but when they blew the whistle to go . . . She was off. I didn't see her again until we all got back to the school. So I am not really sure why I was there expect to get my workout in I guess! I had to carry Tuck the whole way. He wouldn't walk and I forgot the stroller.
