My kids are at a fun age. They had so much fun picking out their own pumpkins. This pumpkin patch by my in-laws house is so much fun. They have a small corn maze (the perfect size for my kids) and a hay ride. And its all Free! Except for the pumpkins :) I posted more pictures of our trip to the pumpkin patch on my photography blog. These pictures I took at the pumpkin patch were inspired by a good friend of the family who recently passed away. She could always do amazing things with her camera. I loved looking at all the pictures she took of her Grand kids. I always remember the one she took of her grandson in the pumpkins. She did it in black and white and just colored one of the pumpkins. Each year I always try to recreate that picture. Thanks Jan for teaching me about photography. Sorry we never got to take that class together!
