All grown up

So my sleeping in days have come to an end . . .

My baby started Kindergarten today. This is in the front yard posing before school.

Walking to the bus stop.

Waiting for the bus to come.

Off she goes . . . she wasn't even sad to go.

This is Tuck . . .he sat on the front porch and cried for Maddie after she left.

Maddies response to her first day of Kindergarten . . . "It was great, I loved it!" Her favorite part was riding the bus - because she didn't have to wear a seat belt. Maddie is a good mix of her Mom and Dad. She can be shy like her Mom but other times she is very outgoing like her Dad. If it had been me that had to ride the bus by myself the first time going to school, I would have been a MESS! She did say she got lost for a minute when she got off the bus but someone helped show her where to go. And at recess she went to the wrong playground. But once again someone helped her find where she was suppose to be. When I asked her if she made any new friends today she said she forgot to ask them is they wanted to be her friend. She could hardly wait until it was time to go to bed so she could get up and do it all again. Hopefully the second day is as much fun as the first!
